Graduated from Niles North High School in 1995. While at North, Newman was All – Conference, All Area, and was selected to play in the area code games as well as the high school coaches North/ South Central Suburban urban All star game.
After high school Jeremy was asked to play for the Dubois County Dragons, (Frontier League) under coach R.C. Lichtenstein. He was named All conference of the IIAC, along with All Regional his last season as a Spartan.
Coach Newman has coached for many years at all levels and age groups but takes pride in instructing solid fundamentals and fostering the growth of the young players of today and tomorrow. Whether it be coaching at the collegiate level as an assistant, coaching at a high school as a head coach or coaching our youth the one thing you will find is that he truly puts his heart and soul into each program.
If you can’t find him on the field coaching or in the classroom teaching, you can find him hanging out with his wife Rachel and son Easton.
