Jason Robinson

Jason grew up the son of a baseball coach in St. Louis, Missouri where he developed his passion while playing elite travel baseball from an early age. Jason played college baseball for Webster University, where he batted lead-off and played shortstop from 1994 to 1996. Soon after, he began coaching youth baseball in Ballwin, Missouri, and continued to coach at all levels of baseball for over 15 years, with an increasing emphasis on the elite travel level. He has recently coached youth baseball and operated travel programs for the park district of Highland Park and Northshore baseball Academy. In seven seasons as head coach on the North Shore, Jason has not had even one losing season, and most recently Jason's 2016 9U team went a remarkable 34-3, going undefeated in tournament play, and winning four championships including winning MSBL'S top division league and tournament.

Jeremy Newman

Graduated from Niles North High School in 1995. While at North, Newman was All – Conference, All Area, and was selected to play in the area code games as well as the high school coaches North/ South Central Suburban urban All star game.

After high school Jeremy was asked to play for the Dubois County Dragons, (Frontier League) under coach R.C. Lichtenstein. (now a coach within the Tampa Bay Rays organization) Fortunately, after further consideration and great advice Jeremy decided it would be best to further his education and play baseball in college. While at the University of Dubuque, coach Newman set an NCAA record for turning the most double plays in one game (6). He was named All conference of the IIAC, along with All Regional his last season as a Spartan.

Coach Newman has coached for many years at all levels and age groups but takes pride in instructing solid fundamentals and fostering the growth of the young players of today and tomorrow. Whether it be coaching at the collegiate level as an assistant, coaching at a high school as a head coach or coaching our youth the one thing you will find is that he truly puts his heart and soul into each program.
